Day 1: Saigon - Cai Be - Sadec - Long Xuyen (L,D)
8am Pick up from your
hotel in Saigon and depart to Mekong. Embark on our Authentic
Mekong sampan. We visit the old houses, handicraft villages on
Dong Hoa Hiep Island. The Mekong Authentic cruise set sails
through the canals of Lapvo with a magnificent landscape that
come along the river banks: rural walks, farming, nursering
farm, fishing, boating, smiling school children all in full
swing. The Mekong Authentic cruise set sails upstream Mekong
River while we enjoy the beautiful scenary on Sundeck. Lunch on
the boat. Visit the Sadec local market following the tracks of
French novelist Marguerite Duras with a visit to the Ancient
house L'amant in Sadec Town, brisk factory, Walks/Cycle amongst
the blossoming Sadec flower garden in Tan Qui Dong village .Back
to boat and enjoy welcome back drink. The Mekong Authentic
cruise set sails through the canals of Lapvo with a magnificent
landscape that come along the river banks: rural walks, farming,
nursering farm, fishing, boating, smiling school children all in
full swing. The Mekong Authentic cruise boat set sails torward
Longxuyen and moor midstream for the night. Enjoy traditional
herbal foot massage on boat followed by aperitif with
canapé.Diner and overnight on board.
Day 2 : Long Xuyen
- Cho Moi - Cu Lao Gieng (B,L,D)
Rising up early
for another nice day we
contemplate sunrise while having breakfast on board. Explore
the long Xuyen market one of the most bustling floating markets
in Mekong Delta with hundreds of small boats barging and
jostling for space as owners attempt to sell their goods. Visit
Culao OngHo and enjoy the scenery and walk /cycle to visit
villages the island, passing by farmers, children, villagers
tendering their daily load. See local farmers trading their
produce on the water as they have done for centuries. You will
have a unique opportunity to discover a side of Delta life that
few travellers experience. Mekong Authentic cruise continues its
upclose cruise torward Hoahao and Chomoi, a small town famous
for its traditional boats shipyards. We visit Gieng Island and
watch the old colonial houses, the church build in 1806, the

Day 3 : Cai Be - Saigon (B)
Breakfast . We set
sails along the Mekong and browsing through scenic Mekong and
get much exposure with local life and nature. We continue our
cruise excursion down stream. We embark on lovely cycling along
the riverbank browsing several villages with ample opportunity
to get exposure with nature and local people. Disembark around
11 and departure. |
