At
8:30am you will be collected by our local guide and driver from
your desired location in Siem Reap. From here we will start the
first stage of our tour which will be at the foot of Phnom Krom
Mountain. You will have the chance to interact with local school
children in their daily English class which is supported by our
company. This is a great opportunity to take in the scenery,
make a donation or even volunteer to help with some of the
children in their English class (this choice is at your own
discretion).
After our visit at the local school we will embark on our
journey to Chong Kneas Floating Village where we will cruise
along the Tonle Sap Lake. On arrival to Chong Kneas we will stop
to see how the people from a real Cambodian village live their
daily lives, and to also interact with the local people.
From Chong Kneas we will then move on to Kompong Phluk where the
houses are built on stilts. When visiting the village you will
also have great photo opportunities where you can capture your
memories and dreams forever. From this point on, our boat will
be stationed. We will then move on to see the Flooded Forest
where you will have the chance to row on a small hand crafted
boat through this spectacular scenery (this will be at your own
discretion). Once you have enjoyed the charm and wonder of the
Flooded Forest it will be time to take a well earned rest, and
have afternoon tea with the local monk. This will allow you to
interact and learn more about Karma, and the daily life of a
Buddhist monk.
Now
it will be time for us to enjoy our lunch where we can sit and
enjoy the surrounding spectacle, in front of our eyes to see.
After lunch we will then head back to where our driver will be
waiting, ready for our return to Siem
Reap. |
